Mobile Banking Is Now Available!

January 2017 App Update

  • Device Specifications
    • The iOS app is compatible with iPhones, iPad, and iPod touch with iOS 8.2 or later.
    • The Android app is compatible with Android 4.0 or later.
  • Update Process
    • The app will be delivered to your device from the app store as an available update when it is released. If you are downloading the app from the app store for the first time, the app will be the current version available.
  • iOS Enhancements
    • The Touch ID prompt will launch automatically, if enabled, when opening the app.
    • Stability enhancements.
  • Android Enhancements
    • When depositing a check using mobile remote deposit, the application will automatically take a picture of the check when it senses the correct position and focus.

Mobile Deposit Information

  • Device Specifications
    • The iOS app is compatible with iPhones, iPad, and IPod touch with iOS 7.0 or later.
    • The Android app is compatible with Android 2.3 or later.
  • Remote Deposit Fee
    • A $1.00 fee per deposit may be charged to your account. Customers with e-Statements will not incur a fee for Mobile Remote Deposits or Debit Card renewals. Click here to learn more about e-Statements and how to sign-up!
  • Availability of Funds
    • Checks deposited by the Bank's 3:00 p.m. Central Time deadline will be considered deposited on that business day and subject to the Funds Availability Policy. Otherwise, we will consider that the deposit was made on the next business day. Funds deposited using Mobile Remote Deposit will generally be made available on the first business day after the day of deposit.
  • Disposal of Deposited Items
    • Upon receipt of confirmation from Auburn State Bank that we have approved the image you transmitted, you agree to prominently mark the item as "Electronically Presented", VOID", or otherwise render it incapable of further transmission, deposit, or presentment. You agree never to re-present the item. You agree to retain the check for at least 60 calendar days from the date of the image transmission. After 60 days, you agree to destroy the check that you transmitted. During the time the retained check is available, you agree to properly handle the check and, upon request, promptly provide it to Auburn State Bank..
  • Returned Check
    • If your deposit is returned, Auburn State Bank will create a substitute check for you that you can attempt to negotiate. Do not attempt to redeposit the returned item again.
  • Items that can be deposited
    • Checks made payable to the account owner or joint owners that have been properly endorsed in the following manner:

      ASB Remote Deposit (current date)
      Your signature endorsement
  • Items that cannot be deposited
    • Checks payable to any person or entity other than the person or entity that owns the account receiving the check deposit.
    • Checks containing an alteration on the front of the check or item, or which you know or suspect, or should know or suspect, are fraudulent or otherwise not authorized by the owner of the account on which the check is drawn.
    • Checks payable jointly, unless deposited into an account in the name of all payees and endorsed accordingly.
    • Checks previously converted to a substitute check, as defined in Reg. CC.
    • Checks drawn on a financial institution located outside the United States.
    • Checks that are remotely created checks, as defined in Reg. CC.
    • Checks not payable in United States currency.
    • Checks dated more than 6 months prior to the date of deposit.
    • Checks or items prohibited by the bank's current procedures relating to the services or which are otherwise not acceptable under the terms of your account.
    • Checks with any endorsement on the back other than as specified above.
    • Checks that have previously been submitted through Mobile Remote Deposit or through a remote deposit capture service offered at any other financial institution.
    • Checks that have previously been deposited or negotiated in any way via any method at Auburn State Bank or any other financial institution.
