Silent Auction

Auburn State Bank Raises $1,212.00 for Nemaha County Giving Hope Cancer Fund

Auburn State Bank employees raised $1,212.00 for the Nemaha County Giving Hope Cancer Fund. The Main Bank and the South Branch locations hosted a silent auction during the month of December and customers bid on various baskets and other items donated by the employees of the bank. Auburn State Bank CEO Jeff Allgood said, “many of us have been personally affected by the loss of loved ones to cancer. This fundraiser was a great way to honor those fighting this terrible disease and remember those whom we have lost. We are very pleased with the results and look forward to seeing this money at work right here in Nemaha County.”

There were over 25 different items to bid on and the auction lasted two weeks. Casie Allen with the Nemaha County Giving Hope Cancer fund accepted the donation on behalf of the organization.
